TheAngle intends to modernize the classic high school newspaper to a platform that allows students across the country to share their voices and opinions on current events with a larger audience without censorship. We couldn’t agree more with the Flipsnack Blog’s statement that High School Newspapers “are often not taken seriously”. Thus we, students, have created a new type of free, online high school newspaper for students across the country to present their articles to a larger, more serious crowd. Our writers are carefully selected and have shown their outstanding ability to express their thoughts, beliefs, and concerns. TheAngle’s intention is not to break news to its readers, but rather create a representation of how students around the country are reacting to and critiquing these current events. Furthermore, we believe in true free speech and do not censor or limit our writers. There are over 15 million high schoolers in the United States! It's time they get heard. It is important to note that TheAngle is completely run by students.
